Hi there, I’m Lara Rose (she/her/hers). I currently work as a Student Success Coach for Guild Education. At Guild, our mission is to unlock economic mobility for America’s workforce through education. In short, we’re trying to redefine both the future of education and the future of work. As a coach, my job is to empower the people I work with so that they can unlock their own potential and live a life of success–whatever “success” means to them. Beyond getting to make a positive impact on people’s lives, my favorite part about being a coach is making use of interdisciplinary skills and people-centered methods I honed over many years in higher education and customer service.

I live in Denver, Colorado and I am endlessly curious. If I’m not using my platform to advocate for climate sustainability or social justice, you can find me exploring the peaks of the Rocky Mountains.  I consider interpersonal communication, empathy, and enthusiasm to be my most valuable skills. I’m definitely an ENFP, which means I think every problem is worth solving.

If you want to know more, I’d love to meet you to share stories. Send me an email, or you can find me on LinkedIn or Instagram via those embedded links or through the social media menu.

“I want to be in the arena. I want to be brave with my life. When we make the choice to dare greatly, we sign up to get our asses kicked. We can choose courage or we can choose comfort, but we can’t have both. Not at the same time.” – Brené Brown
